GRAF GASTECH OPEN DAY with MAYEKAWA ITALIA: biomethane and innovation.
On 27 November 2024, GRAF Gastech’s new production facility in San Giovanni in Persiceto, Bologna, was the perfect location for an event that combined innovation and technology: the OPEN DAY organised by GRAF Gastech in collaboration with MAYEKAWA ITALIA.
We were delighted to receive numerous registrations from operators and professionals in the sector, attracted by the opportunity to learn more about the features of GRAF Gastech solutions and MAYEKAWA ITALIA compressors.
The event consisted of two main parts: the first part took place in the classroom, where participants were able to discover and explore the technical and functional characteristics of the wide range of applications for the compression of biogas, biomethane and other fluids, highlighting the competitive advantages offered by GRAF Gastech and MAYEKAWA technology.
This was followed by a second part with a visit to the production plant: the guided tour was particularly appreciated as participants were able to observe the production processes up close, from the assembly of the compressor bodies to the automatic goods storage area. In particular, the practical demonstration of functional tests on GRAF Gastech reciprocating compressors and MAYEKAWA screw compressors aroused great interest among guests, who actively participated with questions and offered interesting food for thought.
The OPEN DAY was also an opportunity to highlight the collaboration between GRAF Gastech, a well-known company thanks to its many years of experience in the sector and advanced technologies for biogas and biomethane compression, and MAYEKAWA ITALIA, which is celebrating its centenary this year and has been a leader for years in the design of screw compressors for different types of fluids, with single-stage and compound configurations. This strategic collaboration aims to respond effectively and innovatively to the needs of the natural gas and biogas sector, offering reliable, high-performance solutions.
