On Friday, 9 May, GRAF Gastech participated as a speaker at the event ‘Hydrogen and Innovation – Applications, Research and Prospects for the Future,’ organised by the ‘Enzo Ferrari’ Department of Engineering at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia at the University Technology Centre in Carpi.

The initiative is part of the series of meetings entitled ‘L’ELISIR – Local Excellence L’Industria SI Racconta’ (Local Excellence Industry Tells Its Story), created to build bridges between companies and students, promoting industrial excellence in the region and stimulating direct exchange on key issues for sustainable and technological development.

The event featured speakers from the European Commission’s Joint Research Centre, academic experts and businesses.

Chiara Buttitta, ESG – Chemist – Environment Management, introduced the GRAF Group to the public and students, presenting the six different business units that comprise it. The wealth of skills and specialisations is the basis of the company’s commitment to innovation and research, which is naturally linked to its commitment to the growth, training and guidance of young people, the real driving force for the future.

Next, Marco Vergari, Energy Engineer at GRAF Gastech, presented GRAF’s experience in the field of gas compression, distribution and supply for mobility, illustrating the technologies enabling the energy transition offered by the potential of hydrogen as a clean energy carrier, addressing the challenges associated with its integration into energy supply systems, and highlighting the concrete contribution that reliable and flexible technologies such as those offered by GRAF are already making to the energy transition today.

With its participation, the GRAF Group has confirmed its commitment to developing and strengthening dialogue between industry, universities and students, in order to jointly realise a shared vision of the future.
