GRAF Gastech at OGU 2025: new opportunities in the Oil & Gas sector and emerging energies
The 27th edition of the International Oil & Gas Exhibition and Conference – OGU 2025, held at the CAEx in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, has just come to a close.
GRAF Gastech, which has its own operational headquarters in the country, participated in the event at the CIUZ stand – the Italian-Uzbekistan Chamber of Commerce, a point of reference for dialogue and collaboration between Italian and local businesses.
The event covered the entire spectrum of energy sources, from gas to photovoltaics to wind power, providing an important platform for discussion and international visibility.
Despite the current uncertainty surrounding investments in automotive gas infrastructure, GRAF Gastech saw a good turnout of visitors interested in emerging technologies such as LNG and hydrogen, as well as industrial gas compression solutions.
During the event, we launched an analysis of the territory aimed at identifying new business opportunities in the industrial and Oil&Gas sectors, proposing our range of modular compressors, which are scalable and adaptable to different applications, even outside the automotive sector. This marks the beginning of a new phase of exploration for GRAF Gastech, with the aim of consolidating our presence as an Italian technology partner committed to investing in Uzbekistan.
On the occasion of the inauguration of the new Italian Ambassador to Uzbekistan, Dr Piergabriele Papadia de Bottini, GRAF Gastech was also invited to represent Italy at the graduation ceremony of the Turin Polytechnic University – Tashkent campus, strengthening our ties with the academic world and offering visibility to our company among the new generations of engineers.
OGU 2025 closes with encouraging signs: despite strong competition, prospects are growing for new collaborations in the Oil & Gas and industrial sectors, particularly for applications related to the compression of biogas and recovery gas from refining processes.
